What we collect
Only what you type into one of the two forms on this site — the review request and the contact note. That is:
- Your name and email address, which we need in order to reply.
- Your company, phone number and roughly how many people work there, if you tell us.
- The day and time you would prefer for a consult, if you pick one.
- Whatever you write in the message box.
Nothing else. There is no account to create, nothing to log in to, and no newsletter sign-up.
Where it goes
To a server we run, into a database we run, on our own domain. We do not use a third-party form service, so your note is not copied to a company you have never heard of on its way to us.
Only the people at The Manas Group who would answer you can read it.
What the web server records
Like almost every web server, ours keeps an ordinary request log for pages: the date and time, which page was asked for, the browser that asked, and the network address it came from. That is how a server is operated and how abuse is spotted.
Those logs are not joined up with anything you send us, and they are not used to build a picture of you.
When you submit a form, your network address is used for a moment to rate-limit the endpoint — so nobody can flood it — and is not stored alongside your message.
What we never do
- We do not sell your information. Not to anybody, at any price.
- We do not share it for advertising, and there are no advertising tags on this site.
- We do not track you across other websites, because there is nothing here that could.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked us a question.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as it is useful to remember the conversation — typically while we are talking, and afterwards as a record of who asked us what.
If you would rather we did not, say so and we will delete it.
Asking us to change or delete it
Email hello@themanasgroup.com and ask. You do not need to quote a law at us or use a particular form of words. We will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it, and we will answer the same day.
If you would like a copy of what you sent us, ask for that too.
