What this site sets
Nothing. There are no cookies on this website. Not ours, and not anybody else's.
There is also no analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, no chat widget and no social embed. The typefaces are served from this domain rather than fetched from another company, so loading a page here does not tell anybody but us that you visited.
Don't take our word for it
This is one of the few promises on a website you can check yourself in about fifteen seconds:
- Open your browser's developer tools — usually the F12 key, or right-click and choose Inspect.
- Find the tab called Application or Storage.
- Look at Cookies, Local Storage and Session Storage for this site.
- They are empty, apart from the one flag described below if you have dismissed the notice.
The one thing we do store
If you dismiss the small notice that appears on your first visit, we write a single value in your browser's local storage so it does not appear again. It records nothing except that you closed it.
It is never sent to us or to anybody else, it contains no identifier, and clearing your browser data removes it. That is the entire extent of it.
Why there is nothing else
Partly because we do not need it. This is a small site for a small firm, and knowing which page somebody read would not change what we do.
Partly because we spend our days telling people to be careful about where their information goes, and it would be a strange thing to say while quietly handing visitors to an advertising network.
If that ever changes
We have no plans to add tracking. If we ever did add something that needed your consent, we would ask for it before it ran, not after — and this page would say what it is and what it does before anything was switched on.
